We are three-dimensional beings, and I am sure you know that, we see three points of space at any given time (height, length, and width or X,Y, and Z coordinates) so this means we can only see up to three sides of a cube at any given time. It is said that there is a fourth spatial dimension (since most people know time as the fourth dimension... in that case it would be the 5th dimension, but here i will call it the fourth) and if there were living fourth dimensional creatures, then they would be able to look at all six sides of the cube at the same moment. If you doubt this, then think of a 2-dimensional creature (true, there is no such thing, as no organic being could live in a 2 Dimensional space, but lets postulate...) and its capability to view a cube. IT CAN'T! It can only see two points of space at any given time (x, and y coordinates) so if it were to see a cube, it would seem to be a series of squares stacked upon one another. Now, lets bring it back to the third dimension, if we were to see a fourth dimensional cube (called a hypercube) then all we would see is a series of cubes. In all actuality, it would be a bunch of cubes melded together. let me show you how it would look on paper, a two dimensional space... first you would draw a square, right? now if you took two squares, diagonal from eachother, and connected the three corner, it would make a cube, a three dimensional figure. Now take two drawn cubes, place them diagonal from one another, and connect THOSE corners, you would end up with a hypercube! It is hard to understand, but lets look at it another way. We, as three dimensional beings, can manipulate the second dimension. If we draw on paper, a square holding a circle inside, could we not erase the circle and put it somewhere else? also, if there were a two dimensional being, he would not be able to see what was inside the square, however, WE CAN. he would see an enclosed square, and a possibility that something might be inside. This works for the fourth dimension as well, they can see anything hidden in a safe, and manipulate it. This sort of thing could explain how things can go missing and appear at another random place (however, i don't believe that sort of thing) and it could explain a higher plane of existence. I will have to continue this some other time, I'm not sure if i am in the state of mind or speech to explain this clearly anymore...
